From the Owner
Hi I’m Adrian the owner of Bikes and Trikes. I started this bike shop in my 2 car garage after the uncertainty of Covid and traveling around NZ for my job. It made sense to me to work from home and try to build a business here in Hamilton and to help the local community with bike repairs and servicing.
After a small amount of advertising on Facebook and a sign on the side of the road, word started to spread in the community that there was a new bike shop open and my workload started to snowball. Initially starting with just servicing bikes I soon became the Hamilton Dealer for Watt Wheels and started selling electric Trikes and e-bikes. As the work started to pile up at the shop, I had regular requests to convert bikes and trikes to electric assist. I had previously worked with Converted the NZ importer and distributor for Bafang and TruckRun Conversion kits.
