If you ever find it to hard to get back home just use the throttle control to move the trike along without pedaling.

Shifting gear couldn’t be easier with the Shimano 7 speed internal hub gearbox. No need to be pedaling like a conventional bike, with the internal hub gearing you can shift from 1st to 7th gear and back again without pedaling. From the 7 speed internal hub the chain drive goes back to a differential, this allows both rear wheels to be driven giving excellent grip on loose metal and wet grass.

An adjustable handlebar stem allows the handlebars to be adjusted closer to the rider for shorter people, then back out for taller riders making the riding position perfect for any height rider. The trike XT has 5 levels of power assist from the motor, which is easily accessed on the control panel beside the handlebar grips. Next to the control panel on the handlebars is the throttle, the throttle like the accelerator on a car allows the rider to power along without pedaling. This is a great feature to get up those steep hills or get you home if your getting tired. The trike is capable of travelling 30km on the throttle alone.

The wide tyres give some cushioning when riding over a bumpy surface, with the front shock absorbers handling any big pothole that the front wheel runs into.
